* NYE in Abu Dhabi *

Ich wünsche euch alle ein Happy New Year!

Hello dears, I wish you all a happy new year! I hope you all had an amazing NYE! For me I was so lucky to celebrate this year New Years Eve in Abu Dhabi in a wonderful hotel. We went to dinner in the hotel first before we headed to the pool and beach area to watch the fireworks. It was beautiful. How did your New Years celebration go? No matter where in the world you are, I hope you had a great one.

As for my outfit I decided to keep it simply but elegant with wearing a black lace Jumpsuit. There where two reasons why I decided for it this year:
First it can get pretty cold here in Abu Dhabi in the evening. Temperatures can drop to like 21 Degrees Celsius and I’m always very cold. I knew we wanted to watch the fireworks by the beach so I was glad I was wearing pants instead of a skirt. The second reason: I thought it fits to the fashion tradition here in the arabic countries. Women completely dress all in black with the Burkas. Even there are lots of tourists from other countries here in the hotel, there have been also quite a lot from other arabic countries, so I felt that im fitting in well. Where did you celebrate New Years and for which outfit did you decide this year?

Xx from Abu Dhabi, Anne-Catherine

Danke Jecky!!
