The pictures you see here have been taken in Lugano, in the italian part of Switzerland. I went there for a long weekend around 2 weeks ago and had a great time. Sun was shining, so I was able to wear a short sleeve blouse while exploring the city. I decided to combine it with some red trousers, which I just bought a couple weeks before. I have been always skeptical if I look good in trousers in such bright colors but now I am very glad I bought them, because they are so easy to combine with simple things like a white blouse and its an eye catcher which makes you look good for summer. You look stylisch without much jewelery or a belt.
What I absolutely love right now is my new Louis Vuitton Delightful Bag. I wanted to buy a bag in Damier Canvas style from Louis Vuitton for a while now. So the time was perfect when this brand new model came into the stores just a few weeks earlier. I really recommend this bag because its wonderful for a every day use. It carries all your utensils which you need daily and it looks pretty elegant as well. Do you have a nice bag, which you prefer right now? I would love to get some advices from you in the comments below.
After walking around Lugano for a while, we drove to the next city to Locarno which is just 20 minutes away. We had a delicious pizza at Piazza Grande, the famous place where there is the international music festival once a year in summer. Famous acts like Roxette, Santana or Sam Smith will be there this year. Its called Moon and Stars festival and if you are in the area some time, you should definetly check it out. What I also recommend is to take the boat and go on a cruise on Lago Maggiore. It will also take you to italy, because the boarder is just a couple minutes away.
In the streets of both cities you will find idyllic italian restaurants, markets and cute little stores. It really does look like you are in italy. You can feel the dolce vita, everywhere you go.
Did you know? The whole italian part of switzerland is called Ticino.
I have another outfit post waiting for you in just a couple days. It will be all about a warm, elegant and soft piece, which you can also wear in summer.
